Welcome to Plymouth Professional
Massage Therapy

We've Moved!

Plymouth Professional Massage Therapy has relocated to the Plymouth Medical Plaza! (Old Sentry Building) 515 East Mill St.

We began operating out of our new location beginning on Monday, April 4th.

We will no longer be providing facials or nail treatments. If you have gift certificates that you have purchased, they may be used towards massage therapy.

Dana Gumm LMT. is expecting her first baby in April and will be taking some time off. Dana should be back at the end of May or early June. Good luck Dana!

We are also pleased to welcome two new office staff members, Lisa LaBoy and Mary Klemm. In our transition I feel it is important to provide better care at our reception area. I plan to have the desk staffed from 9-6:30 on Mondays and Wednesday and 9-2 on Fridays. I understand that we may miss your calls while we are taking care of and treating patients, and I am hoping this will help the situation.

I am looking forward to our new space as it will be much quieter and the parking will be more convenient. As you may notice our new location is more of a clinical atmosphere and while we do a lot of therapeutic massage we want you to feel comfortable. We will be sharing a common waiting area with Columbia St Mary's, however we also have our own relaxation lounge for your comfort. If you have any comments or concerns please address them with us and we will try to be accommodating.

Katie Henning
Thank you for your continued support.

EAR CANDLING
Please remember to get your ears candled about every three months. This process helps to eliminate wax build up and promote healthy ears. Just recently I was having ear problems and it took 2 candling treatments but we finally fixed it.

EAT GREEN, GET LEAN?
Avocado eaters may be thinner and get more fiber, vitamins E and K, magnesium, potassium and healthy fats (all abundant in avocados) than people who don't indulge in this creamy green fruit.

THE IMPORTANCE OF STAYING HYDRATED
You need half of your body weight in ounces of water daily and an additional eight ounces for every 30 minutes of exercise. Dehydration is one of the leading causes of lack of energy. If you are dehydrated, your body puts its resources into maintaining your water balance.
